Farmers Markets
The farmer’s market scene is cooking with gas this summer with a different market to check out nearly every day of the week. From Hillyard to Kendall Yards, there’s a market for everyone on every side of Spokane every week this summer.
Hillyard Farmers Market
When: Mondays @ 3-7pm (until October 3rd)
Where: Northeast Community Center @ 4001 N. Cook St.
Get ready to head over to the Northeast Community Center this Monday for the Hillyard Farmer’s Market. Here, you’ll see vendors like Big Daddy’s Honey, Forbidden Fries, Redline Jewelry & so much more! With a wide selection of fresh produce and handmade jewelry for sale, you’ve got to check out the Hillyard Farmer’s Market this summer!
Garland Summer Market
When: Tuesdays @ 3:30-7:30pm (until September 13th)
Where: The Garland District @ 733 W. Garland Ave
Ready for even more market fun? Then head down to the Garland district this Tuesday and get it on the Garland Summer Market fun. They’ll have great food and live entertainment to enjoy as well as plenty of cool vendor’s booths to check out. Don’t miss out, check out the Garland Summer Market!
Kendall Yards Night Market
When: Wednesdays @ 5-8pm (until September 21st)
Where: Kendall Yards @ 1335 W. Summit Parkway
Another day, another market. Now it’s time to head down to Kendall Yards for the Night Market. Not only will there be great vendors, but you can check out nearby eats like Versalia Pizza and enjoy a slice by the beautiful Spokane River. In addition, there will be fantastic live music playing as you walk down the market strip.
Perry Street Thursday Market
When: Thursdays @ 3-7pm (until October)
Where: South Perry District @ 1000 S. Perry St.
The Thursday Market offers fresh, healthy, locally grown foods and hand-crafted products to attendees. This farmers’ market intends to serve as a resource to the community offering affordable and high-quality products while giving small farmers and local artisans a venue to support their quality of life. On top of it all, EBT/SNAP, WIC, and Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program vouchers are all gladly accepted at the market.
Emerson-Garfield Farmers’ Market
When: Fridays @ 3-7pm (until September 30th)
Where: IEL Adult Education Center parking lot @ 2310 N. Monroe St.
Located in the parking lot of the IEL Adult Education Center, the Emerson-Garfield Farmers’ Market is a seasonal weekly marketplace featuring around two dozen regional and neighborhood vendors. In addition to weekly musical entertainment from a variety of bands, this market also features regular events such as cooking demos, book reading for all ages, craft fairs, cider pressing, and more!
Wonder Saturday Market
When: Saturdays @ 9am-1pm (until October)
Where: Wonder Building @ 835 N. Post St.
Head down to the historic Wonder Building this Saturday to experience the Wonder Saturday Market. Try some rich lobster rolls from High Tide Lobster Bar, sip some coffee from Evans Brothers, or chow down on some Victory Burger when you hit this market. You’ll also be able to pick up some locally grown farm produce, enjoy live entertainment, check out work from local artists, and more!

Phoebe Bridgers

Phoebe Bridgers is on a reunion tour with a stop right here in Spokane. Bridgers’ debut studio album, Stranger in the Alps, was released in 2017 to critical acclaim. The Dope Show

Where: Spokane Comedy Club @ 315 W. Sprague Ave.
The Dope Show is a comedy showcase where comedians joke, then toke, then joke some more. Presented by Tyler Smith, this show features nationally touring comedians with various tolerances to weed. Riverfront Eats

Where: Orange Howard St. Bridge @ Riverfront Park
Check out Riverfront Eats – Food Truck Series every Tuesday until late August for some tasty local food from food trucks like Toby’s BBQ, Mixed Plate, Ben and Jerry’s, and so much more! There’ll also be live music for your enjoyment featuring artists like Brenden McCoy and Daniel Hall. In addition to great eats and live tunes, a portion of proceeds will go towards free and low-cost programming in Riverfront Park.
Pig Out in the Park
When: August 31st – September 5th
Where: Riverfront Park
Pig Out in the Park is celebrating 41 years here in Spokane from August 31st to September 5th in Riverfront Park. You won’t want to miss Spokane’s favorite food and free music festival featuring 50 food booths, 250 menu items, 35 public market booths, 112 free concerts on four stages, and four adult beverage gardens! Some performances you’ll be able to catch include artists like The Pink Socks, Grand Avenue Band, Sovereign Citizen, and over 100 more!
Spokane County Interstate Fair
When: September 9th – 18th

Jason’s Free Mystery Midnight Movie
