Nightlife & Local Drinks

Iron Goat

Inside Iron Goat Brewing Co.

Iron Goat brewing began as a casual conversation between two strangers, Greg and Paul, at a local bar in Spokane, Washington. What started as a common interest in motorcycles, ceramic horses, and home brewing, ended as a full-fledged brewery and taproom with a rotating selection of beers, sours, and bearded men.

To this day, Iron Goat Brewing continues to create new and seasonal brews and often collaborates with other craft breweries. They stay involved in the brewing community in an effort to keep their beer independent.

Mom’s Tattoo and Piercing

Mom's Custom Tattoo and Body Piercing Shop

Established in 2007, Mom’s has been located in Kendall Yards since 2014. They offer custom tattooing, professional piercing, and the largest inventory of implant-grade jewelry in the Inland Pacific Northwest. Not only that, but they are also the only shop in Eastern Washington with an Association of Professional Piercers membership; which means they exceed the prescribed standards of safety, piercing techniques, quality of jewelry, and continuing education.

We love Mom’s because they strive to be a safe and welcoming space and believe that all people, regardless of age, sex, race, body shape or size, religion, ethnicity, ability, sexual orientation, and gender identity/expression should be treated with dignity and respect. They believe in the power of consent and informed decision-making. Body modification is about body reclamation for many people, and their team is there to help with that process.

Nerds unite at the Church of Pop Culture, Jedi Alliance. Jedi Alliance is Spokane’s original retro arcade, featuring over 150 arcade and pinball machines. The best part? All games are free to play in exchange for a $16.50 contribution when you visit. Some classic cabinets you’ll see are games like 1984 Atari Star Wars, Ms.Pacman, Galaga, Mortal Combat, and more!

Not only is the Jedi Alliance the best arcade in Spokane, but it’s also a Toy Museum and Movie Prop display that you have to see to believe. In fact, it’s Spokane’s only display of screen-used movie props. Here, you’ll see real-life movie props from movies like X-Men, Terminator 2, Galaxy Quest, and more. The toy museum is full of pop-culture favorites spanning the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. You’ll see items from franchises like Star Wars, Batman, He-Man, Nintendo, Marvel, and more.
