Up first on our list of March events is perhaps one of the most anticipated in the Spoake culinary scene, Restaurant Week! This event features dozens of local restaurants showcasing their 3-course menu priced at $25, $35, or $45. This event is a great way to try out new local eats without breaking the bank. Not sure where to start? Use this handy guide that The Inlander has put together to help you navigate Restaurant Week! Once you find a restaurant you want to visit, be sure to call and make reservations to ensure you get a seat. No matter where you go, this is sure to be their busiest week of the season, so be courteous and always tip your wait staff!

Heart Concert

Next up on our list of March events, the legendary rock band Heart will be coming to town on March 11th! Heart formed in Seattle back in 1973 and has been rocking the world ever since. Some of their most popular songs include Baracuda, Crazy on You, and What About Love. Let your hair down and rock out like it’s the 70s with Heart at the Spokane Arena!
Spring Reverb Bash
Where: Garland Theater | 924 W Garland Ave
When: March 28th @ 7 pm & March 29th @ 12 pm
Another one of the great March events happening here in Spokane is the Spring Reverb Bash! Hosted at The Garland Theater, Spring Reverb Bash will be a two-night event filled with great music and great vibes. On Friday, doors will open at 6:30 pm with music starting at 7 pm. The line-up for the night includes Peru Resh, Bad Trip Motel, Fossil Fire Fossil Blood, Dairybaby, and Jumbotron. Additionally, there will be an aftershow dance party with DJ Motavation. The following Saturday, there will be a punk rock yard sale and gear swap from noon to 7 pm! The first music session starts at 12:30 pm and features Kurb, Reaping Fields, Paperclip, It’s A Setup, Stasi, and Wicked Issue. The second music session starts at 7 pm and features Hayed Noble, Puddy Knife, Hell Motel, Indez, Jangled Nerves, and Atomsk.
El Mercadito
Where: West Central Community Center | 1603 N Belt St

Moving along our list of March events, we want to shout out El Mercadito! El Mercaditio, a local Latino farmers market, is an outdoor cultural market held on the last Saturday of every month. El Mercadito was developed to create access to free fresh cultural foods, medical services with CHAS walk-in street clinic, cultural activities, and provides support for entrepreneurs and organizations to showcase their products and services. Every month, they serve over 200 families, distribute 7000 pounds of free fresh food, and provide thousands of dollars in vouchers to support BIPOC food businesses. El Mercadito is entirely volunteer-led. They partner with Second Harvest, NW Harvest, the Department of Commerce, CHAS Clinic, and other community groups to host El Mercaditio throughout the entire year.

Next up on our list of March events here in Spokane is the NCAA Division I Women’s College Basketball Championship! This 4-day event is taking place at the Spokane Arena and features eight teams battling it out to see which two teams are heading to the Women’s Final Four. Folks will be traveling from all around to see this game, so be sure to get tickets while you still can!
