For over 65 years, Red Dragon has been serving Spokane with the finest Chinese food known to man. They make all of the classics from crab wontons to chow mein and more. In addition to a wide selection of delicious Chinese dishes, Red Dragon delivers a clean, cozy ambiance when you dine in. Their Hillyard location features two main dining areas, a karaoke bar, and an outdoor patio. The Garland Theater
Another business we think deserves your vote in this year’s Inlander Best of 2025 Poll is The Garland Theater. The Garland Theater has been an icon in Spokane since its grand opening in 1945. With 630 seats and extra-wide rows, this theater delivers an incredibly comfortable viewing experience. This theater has seen multiple closures and reinventions. But, The Garland eventually became Spokane’s first discount movie theater after its re-opening in 1988. Since then, it’s maintained its legacy as Spokane’s premier second-run movie theater.
Then, in 2022, The Garland Theater faced yet another threat of closure as the previous owner could no longer keep it running. Luckily, current owners Tyler Arnold, Chris Bovey, and Jasmine Barns swooped in to save The Garland with the help of 4 Degrees Real Estate. Now, The Garland is thriving once more. The new owners have breathed life back into the theater with bright neon lights, extravagant murals, a mini arcade, and an impressive display of movie-used props. It’s clear that the new owners are passionate about upholding the magic of cinema that The Garland Theater brings to Spokane. Jedi Alliance
Another business that we think deserves your vote in this year’s Inlander Best of 2025 Poll is Jedi Alliance. Jedi Alliance is Spokane’s original retro arcade owned by local Jedi Tyler Arnold. They have over 155 arcade and pinball machines all set to free play. Once you pay the $18 entrance fee, you can game all day long! Some arcade games you’ll see there are classics like Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, & Mortal Kombat. In addition to awesome games, Jedi Alliance is home to an impressive toy museum and movie prop display. As a matter of fact, it’s Spokane’s only display of screen-used movie props from movies like X-Men, Terminator 2, Galaxy Quest, and more.
