Next on our list of December events in Spokane is The Jinkx and DeLa Holiday Show. This show is an annual holiday show put on by famous drag artists BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon and will be shown at The First Interstate Center for the Arts. With the help of a chorus of dancers and DeLa’s deceased grandmother, DeLa tries her hardest to uphold the cheery Christmas traditions of her childhood. Meanwhile, Jinkx is much more interested in bawdy jokes, cute boys, and boozy libations. As they sing and dance their way through numbers, the tension between them mounts, culminating in an all-out battle for control of the show. This high-camp, side-splitting romp is equal parts sacrilegious and sweet. The Jinxk and DeLa Holiday Show is sure to be a holiday tradition for those who know that the best traditions are the ones we create ourselves.
