About The Farm
Founded in 2016, Wyld began their operations in central Oregon. When they first started, Wyld was just three college friends over a two-burner stove in a tiny farm building. These shirts served as a way to raise money to donate back to the Equality Federation, who works collaboratively on critical issues involving the LGBTQ+ community. They work towards things like advancing workplace fairness and family recognition to defeating anti-transgender bills and HIV criminalization laws.
Wyld also makes significant efforts towards sustainability. They believe that “being an eco-champion can be achieved through impacts large and small, and that often starts with your own community–making the changes you wish to see around you.” That’s why they partnered with friends of trees, a Portland-based tree-planting organization. They also celebrated their Canadian launch by committing to planting 50,000 trees throughout the country in partnership with One Tree Planted. In addition to their tree planting efforts, Wyld packaging went fully compostable in their Canadian product and plans to transition to fully compostable packaging in the USA as well. Their goal with this packaging shift is to work towards their goal of Net Zero emissions and end the days of single-use plastics.
