March 3rd: Fiery Foods Show
Get ready to bring on the heat at the National Fiery Foods and BBQ Show in Albuquerque this spring. This show features more than 1,000 different products from the U.S. around the world for tasting and purchasing. You’ll also be able to watch live cooking and barbecue demonstrations and enjoy food samples galore. On top of all of that, you’ll be able to taste and buy Scovie Award-winning products, recognized as the top Fiery Food Products in the world.
This show features 505 Food Fights, a bracket-style culinary competition for charity. Professional cooks and chefs from around the state perform head-to-head creating dishes based on mystery ingredients. The Fiery Foods Show is located in the beautiful Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque, allowing exhibitors and attendees to stay onsite in one of New Mexico’s most fantastic properties. Located in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains, Sandia features a casino, spa, beautiful rooms, golf, and world-class dining.
March 4th: Oddities & Curiosities Expo
The Oddities and Curiosities Expo is the original traveling oddities event that hits major cities across the country. This exposition features 150+ oddity vendors and artists. This year, The Oddities and Curiosities Expo will take over Expo New Mexico – Manuel Lujan Building in Albuquerque this spring. The Oddities and Curiosities Expo draw people from all walks of life who enjoy strange and unusual items from local and national vendors including taxidermy, preserved animal specifics, original horror and Halloween-inspired artwork, antiques, hand-crafted oddities, skulls, bones, and funeral collectibles.
March 19th: Monster Jam
Prepare for mud and mayhem because Monster Jam is coming to Albuquerque this spring. Monster Jam is the most action-packed motorsports event on four wheels. At the event, you’ll witness world-class driver athletes and the most recognizable trucks tear up the dirt and compete in intense competitions of speed and skill. You can catch Monster Jam at the Tingley Coliseum on March 19th in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
April 20th: 420 West Show feat. Ice Cube & more
Ice Cube returns to Albuquerque this spring at the Rio Rancho Events Center on Thursday, April 20th, 2023. This time around, he’s bringing the original members of Bone Thugs -n- Harmony along with other special guests like Warren G, The Dogg Pound DJ Quik, Suga Free, Tha Luniz, and more!
May 5th: Cinco De Mayo
For many people, Cinco de Mayo is a day to celebrate Mexican cultural heritage. But for others, it’s an excuse to bar crawl their way through the night! All the best bars are open and more than ready to welcome you for the best bar crawl on Cinco de Mayo that Albuquerque has ever seen! May 7th: Godsmack & I Prevail Concert
Godsmack’s highly-anticipated headlining tour is coming to Albuquerque this spring. The band is traveling across major cities with special guest I Prevail who will also support the band during their tour. This tour celebrates the release of their brand new record, Lighting up the Sky. Critics praise this new album for its “high-voltage energy” and is packed with killer melodies, good hooks, big grooves, and great guitar solos. The album’s impeccable sounds remind fans exactly why they dominated the hard rock scene during the early 2000s. On Sunday, May 7th, 2023, fans can expect Godsmack to belt out their incredible hits. May 20th: Hamilton the Musical
Hamilton is the story of America then, told by America now, featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway; Hamilton has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre — a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education. You can catch Hamilton in Albuquerque this spring at the Center for the Arts and Art Museum from May 9th – May 20th.
