Crunchie Munchie Cannabis Infused Mac and Cheese

The version we made is pretty powerful. In addition to using 3; 10mg packs of infused potato chips and an entire container of infused hot sauce, we used homemade, infused butter. If using traditional, non-infused, butter; the dosage will be close to 130mg of THC. (Also, the baking in the oven of the Mac and Cheese will reduce the THC levels in the finished product)

Cannabis Infused Chips

12oz of uncooked macaroni pasta (or any pasta of your choosing)

2 cups of shredded Cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cups of milk

1/4 cup butter (we used infused butter)

2 1/2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour

1/2 cup of breadcrumbs (we used three single packs of Loris Infused Roasted Garlic Potatoe Chips)

1 healthy pinch of paprika

optional 1 or 2 healthy dashes of hot sauce (we used Fairwind’s Sriracha THC Tincture)

Cannabis Infused Sriracha Sat Atop Macaroni Noodles

1. Cook macaroni in heavily salted, boiling water. (The water should taste like the ocean, trust us, it will not be too salty)

2. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and mix till smooth. (This is your roux. Be careful not to burn the roux, but do not be concerned if the flour starts to turn a golden brown.  This will lead to a richer flavor)

3. Slowly add the milk to the roux. (Stir continuously until the milk and roux are entirely incorporated into each other)

4. Stir cheeses into the milk/roux mixture and cook over low heat until the cheese is completely melted and forms a smooth sauce.

5. (Optional) Add hot sauce of to cheese mixture (we used the whole bottle)

6. In a large oven-safe dish, combine the macaroni and the cheese sauce.

7. Take breadcrumbs (or broken up, infused potato chips, as we did) and sprinkle generously over the macaroni and cheese to cover.

8. Get your Salt Bae on and sprinkle the pinch of paprika over the top of the Mac n Cheese.

9. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 30 minutes. (Check on Mac and Cheese after 15 minutes. Some ovens cook faster than others.)

10. Let cool to the desired temperature and chow down!
