Looking for something that’ll have everyone at your party dying of laughter? Then play one of the Jackbox Party Packs! This video game franchise offers a wealth of gaming options, as they currently have 9 party packs available, each with 5 games. Many of these games pair with your phone, which acts as each player’s controller. With so many options to choose from, we’ve narrowed down the choices to the ones we think are the most fun to play while high.

Unleash your inner artist with this hilarious Pictionary-style drawing video game. Like Pictionary, each player is given a prompt on their cell phone which they must try to draw on their screen. In contrast, these prompts are much more obscure and sometimes inappropriate than the ones you’ll see in Pictionary. Plus, if you want to add your own personal flair, players can submit their own prompts!

Once every player has drawn their prompt, each drawing is displayed on the screen. From here, each player must enter what they think the drawing is supposed to be. Once everyone has submitted their guess, each response is shown on the screen alongside the answer. Then, players must choose what they believe the original prompt was. Those who guess correctly are awarded points. The artist is also awarded points based on how many people guessed their drawings correctly. Plus, if you managed to trick fellow players into thinking your guess was the original prompt, you will be awarded points for that as well.

Quiplash (Jackbox 2, 3, 4)

Let the hilarity ensue by playing a game of Quiplash. This video game is a battle of wits and wittiness. In this game, two players are given the same prompt at random that they must respond to on their phones. These prompts are usually very silly with things like, “Something you’d be surprised to see a donkey do” or “A better name for France”. Once everyone has given their answer on their phone, the battle begins. Each prompt is shown on the screen with the two competing answers. Players then vote for the best or funniest answer. Whoever racks up the most votes by the end of the game is deemed the winner.

Earwax (Jackbox 2)

If you think farts are funny, get ready to bust a gut laughing while you play Earwax. This video game, like the previous two, involves players responding to a prompt. This time, the answers are in the form of audio clips like a burp, a fart, a scream, an explosion, you name it. To answer the prompt, each player picks two audio clips that, when combined, provide a hilarious response to prompts like “How the Titanic Really Sank” or “Welcome to Canada!”. Let’s be totally honest though, you’re going to laugh at the fart noises regardless of if they go with the prompt or not.

Minecraft

Looking for something more laid back? Then hop on a game of Minecraft! For those living under a rock, Minecraft is one of the world’s most popular sandbox games. This means players’ creativity is not limited to a certain storyline or style of gameplay, as you can play Minecraft however you want.

Whether your goal is to build a giant castle, run a farm, do parkour, or just explore the world with friends, Minecraft has it all. While the graphics are very simple and cubic, that doesn’t mean they aren’t fun to look at. In fact, people have built things like a 1:1 scale model of The Empire State Building, pixelated renditions of famous art pieces, and even functional computer systems through the use of the red-stone mechanic in Minecraft. So, if you’re looking for a video game that will allow you to explore your creative side this 420, give Minecraft a shot. It’s fun for adults too!

Fall Guys

Fall Guys Video Game

Want to compete head-to-head with friends in elaborate, brightly colored obstacle courses without getting off the couch? Then you’ll love playing this next video game this 420. Fall Guys is a free-to-play battle royale game. In this video game, you play with up to 40 fellow players who control jellybean-like creatures through a series of obstacle courses and mini-games.

Each round, the lowest-scoring competitors are eliminated until the final face-off. In the end, only one player reigns supreme. One element I personally love about this game is the weight/movement mechanics of the jellybean-like avatars. These little buggers don’t run very fast, and are easily knocked over by obstacles. This lends itself to some pretty hilarious and frustrating gameplay. Plus, the graphics in the game are so bright and colorful that this game is a visual treat to play while high.
