Blue Roots Cannabis Company was founded in 2014 with the simple goal of cultivating top-shelf cannabis flower, prerolls, edibles, and concentrates. Blue Roots Cannabis Company is located west of Spokane in Airway Heights and available at all Cinder locations.

The Aesthetics

The jars were adorable before opening. Yet, I cannot get the dang lid to stay in place. So, definitely looks nice, but the functionality is not the best.

The Flavor

I was delighted at the funky (and not super citrusy) smells in this strain. There is lemon in the name, but not in the flavor. Lemon Tree is a cross of lemon skunk and Sour Diesel, and the earthy/funky flavors really took over in a good way.

The Effects

I felt transported to a shag-carpeted basement who’s walls are lined with tapestry and 70’s rock posters, sitting with my cool cousin Tim, listening to jazz records, and smoking a poorly rolled but delicious joint. The effects were balanced with a little drag on the body after 30 min or so. Very giggly for me. Munchies were not an issue.

Overall Score: 8/10

I am a big fan of the terpene guide and visibility of the buds. In fact, if it weren’t for the jar being a puzzle and impossible to completely close, Blue Roots Lemon Tree flower would have likely scored 9.
