Here at Cinder, we love cannabis. That sweet Mary Jane is our main thang and always will be! But we also like the occasional cocktail. Since Spokane is starting to get snowy and the holiday season is in full swing, we thought we would share some of our favorite holiday cocktails. But these cocktails are infused with a cannabis twist.
The Basics
We will be infusing our cocktails by, essentially, two methods.
Method 1. We take one of our infused beverages (Happy Apple Cider, Wildside Infused Drinks, etc.) and mix with alcohol. Very Simple.
Method 2. We make a cocktail, in any style, and then add a THC or CBD tincture to the drink. Method 2 is the most versatile way of infusing cocktails.
Egg-nug Cocktail
Fill glass with ice
Add 3 oz of Eggnog
Add 1 oz of Rum
Drop 1 or 2 full droppers of Green Revolution’s 1:1 CBD/THC Tincture
Stir thoroughly
Sprinkle of Nutmeg (optional)
Enjoy
Celtic Cannabis Coffee
Add 1 packet of Left Handed Brand Cannabis Infused Sugar of infused sugar to empty mug
Pour 3 oz of freshly brewed coffee
Add 1 oz of Whiskey
Drop 1 or 2 droppers of Green Revolution’s 1:1 CBD/THC Tincture
Stir thoroughly
Add a dollop (or dab) of whipped cream to float on top of the coffee
Enjoy
Happy Apple Oldtimer
Fill a tall glass with ice. Set aside
Add 6 oz of Happy Apple Cider 10mg to an iced shaker
Add 2 oz of Whiskey
Two dashes of bitters
Close shaker and mix vigorously
Pour over ice in a tall glass
Garnish with a slice of apple
Enjoy
Sweet Watermelon Cosmic Cosmopolitan
Sugar the rim of a martini glass with THC infused sugar. Set aside
Add 2 to 4, lightly, muddled mint leaves
Pour 3 oz of Wildside; Sweet Watermelon, 30mg THC + 3mg CBD to an iced shaker
Add 1.5 oz of Vodka
Add 1 oz of Triple Sec Liquor
Juice of half a lime
Close shaker and mix vigorously
Pour in sugar rimmed martini glass
Garnish with mint and lime wedge (optional)
Enjoy
Drink Responsibly…PLEASE
Seriously folks, whenever consuming cannabis or alcohol, it is so important to partake responsibly. Alcohol infused with marijuana can feel stronger than the sum of its parts. Also, remember that the alcohol will take effect before the cannabis does. So pace yourself. And, as always, never drink and drive.
