If you shop here at Cinder, you may have heard of our Cinder Cares program. Cinder Cares is a testing program designed by our Purchasing Team to maintain accountability and transparency about the products on our shelves with our customers. As a little treat, we even put all of the products that have passed our Cinder Cares program on sale for 30% off every Self-Care Sunday! To get all of the details on how our Cinder Cares program works and what products have passed, keep reading!
How Cinder Cares Works
Every month, we purchase samples from our inventory and send them to Confidence Analytics for evaluation. At the lab, they test for mycotoxins, pesticides, heavy metals, and other matter to ensure that you’re getting clean products. They also test the cannabinoid & terpene content of every product we send. This tells us things like the percentage of CBD & THC present in each product. When samples come back matching the label, we celebrate! These products pass Cinder Cares because what is on the label is truly what you’re getting in the package. When samples return disputing their label, we first try to problem-solve with the producer. Often in the agricultural industry, the issues are unknown to the producers or can be resolved by simply applying a new, more detailed label. However, if we cannot fix the problem, the product will no longer be on Cinder shelves.
About the Confidence Analytics Lab
Through scientific integrity and industry experience, Confidence Analytics provides cannabis testing and analytical services to provide true quality assurance and traceable documentation. At Confidence Analytics, they are a diverse team of professionals. Founded after many years of experience, the laboratory’s management backgrounds include agricultural science, pharmaceutical science, laboratory management, instrument optimization, prescription regulation, drug administration, information technology, and law enforcement. They test each product’s cannabinoid potency and terpene content to ensure what you see on the label is what you get. They also test each product for pesticides, heavy metals, mycotoxins, and other foreign matter. This ensures that what you buy is not only high-quality but clean as well.
Why We Do Cinder Cares
Here at Cinder, we had many questions and very few answers. As a result, we knew it was time to find a solution. Cinder believes in transparency. We know that as a customer, you should have access to easy-to-obtain and straightforward information about the products you buy. Due to a lack of state regulations regarding pesticide usage and product testing, we’ve decided to take it into our own hands to protect our customers and ensure accurate information is shared. We value the relationship of cannabis in our lives and promise to do our best to provide safe products for you every time you purchase from us.

When it comes to harvesting, the team at Torus is careful and deliberate. Every flower is hand-trimmed to protect its trichomes. This preserves the plant’s potency, aroma, and effects. The attention to detail during the harvest ensures that what’s picked is just as rich and flowerful when it reaches you. Once it comes time to process, everything happens in-house.
