About Hoopfest
For the last 31 years, the Spokane Hoopfest Associated has launched several programs, donated $2.5m back to local charitable organizations, and built over 30 community basketball courts in the Inland Northwest. They strive to inspire, connect, and grow basketball in the greater Spokane Community by offering the best and most inclusive basketball experiences on Earth. Since 1990, Hoopfest has built over 30 community outdoor basketball courts in the region. In addition, they’ve donated over $2.5 million to local organizations. This includes Special Olympics, their primary beneficiary, as well as community centers and various youth sports and learning programs.
Hoopfest 2023
This year, Hoopfest will take place from June 24th-25th. This event will feature over 6,000 teams, 3,000 volunteers, 225,000 fans, and 450 courts spanning 45 city blocks. Beyond just basketball, Hoopfest is an outdoor festival with shopping, food, and interactive entertainment.
