Another event you won’t want to miss on our list of New Mexico Halloween events is a trip to McCall’s Haunted Farm. The story goes that the McCall family owned this land for centuries. Then, in the early 70’s, the State Highway Department decided to build an interstate right through the farm. Afterward, Mr.MCall was never the same again. He watched helplessly as the highway was constructed right through his family’s land. Over time, the farm fell into ruin, and Mr.McCall’s family mysteriously vanished. It was rumored that Mr.McCall slaughtered his wife and children. As these rumors began to circulate, Mr.McCall disappeared as well. Finally, officials searched the farm for Mr.McCall and his family after no one had seen or heard from them in months. Their worst fears were realized when they found the skeletal remains of many missing tourists. The most shocking discovery, however, was the shallow graves of Mrs.McCall and their 4 children. Mr.McCall was never found. However, some claim to see him still tending to the fields at night, carrying on his gruesome work. If you want to experience the horror for yourself, be sure to get tickets here!
