The budtenders of Cinder are rumored to be the wisest marijuana enthusiasts in the land. Which is to say, our budtenders have some opinions. Cloe, a budtender at Cinder’s Spokane Valley location, is graciously sharing her thoughts on the Sitka Death Star Hash.

Sitka Crema Death Star Hash

Look 10/10

Sitka hash is a beautiful, dense looking, dark-brown ball. However, upon cutting into the ball, a lighter brown color is revealed.

Smell 10/10

I was very impressed by how fragrant this little ball of hash was. Skunk smell is the first thing I noticed, but then there was a distinctly sweet aroma that followed soon after. However, the longer I smelled the hash, the more I could detect floral-y aromas.

Touch 10/10

The ball of hash bounced around in its container when sitting in my cold car, but after being in my apartment for a couple of minutes, it warmed up enough to set itself against one of the container walls. It is sticky but not so much so that it is oily or unmanageable. I put my hash on a little bit of parchment paper and folded it over so I could flatten it and stuck it in my freezer for 1 minute. The hash quickly hardened up again so I could peel it off as one piece into my bowl on top of some flower. It is effortless to handle.

Taste 8/10

In an attempt to detect the difference between the two, I smoked a bowl of flower, one-half hour before trying the hash. The flavor of the hash didn’t stand out to me. Furthermore, I couldn’t detect a noticeable difference between the two, aside from an earthier and skunkier taste to the Death Star Hash. I am tempted to purchase some more and try it with a cigarette next time

Effect 10/10

My body feels light, and my mind still feels sharp enough, that I am confident I can smoke this and always be able to go back to doing my homework and the rest of the chores around the house.
